I'll stamp all over 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
